About Extract form data
What does the PDF form data export contain?
The JSON lists standard form fields with their names, types, current values, available choices, and read-only status. It does not export page artwork or interpret the meaning of the entries.
Can this extract data from a scanned or flattened form?
No. A scan or flattened form has no interactive field values to read. This tool does not perform OCR or infer fields from page appearance. An ordinary flat PDF returns an empty field list.
Is this tool free, and do files get uploaded?
Yes. This tool runs locally in your browser without an account. PolyPDF does not receive your input files. Downloads are saved only when you choose to save them.
What files and limits does this tool support?
Choose 1 PDF files. The toolkit supports up to 30 MB per file, 80 MB total input, and 500 PDF pages. Image rendering is limited to 100 pages per operation and 16 megapixels per page. Password-protected files are unsupported; editing signed files is blocked.
Can an AI assistant use this tool?
Yes. The downloadable local MCP server exposes the same operation and validation rules. Compatible browser agents can use the selected files through WebMCP when their browser supports it. Read the setup and privacy details.
