About Split PDF
How do I save every PDF page as a separate file?
Set Pages per file to 1. A three-page PDF produces three one-page PDFs. Download each result separately or download all results in a ZIP.
Can I split a PDF by custom page ranges?
This tool splits into groups of a fixed size. The final group can be smaller. To keep a custom selection such as 1, 3-5 in one file, use Extract PDF pages instead.
Is this tool free, and do files get uploaded?
Yes. This tool runs locally in your browser without an account. PolyPDF does not receive your input files. Downloads are saved only when you choose to save them.
What files and limits does this tool support?
Choose 1 PDF files. The toolkit supports up to 30 MB per file, 80 MB total input, and 500 PDF pages. Image rendering is limited to 100 pages per operation and 16 megapixels per page. Password-protected files are unsupported; editing signed files is blocked.
Can an AI assistant use this tool?
Yes. The downloadable local MCP server exposes the same operation and validation rules. Compatible browser agents can use the selected files through WebMCP when their browser supports it. Read the setup and privacy details.
